“Molecular Medicinals: from congenital to acquired hematological diseases”
International Workshop - Lecce, 3 June, 2025

Hematological diseases represent a major clinical and scientific challenge, requiring increasingly targeted and innovative therapeutic approaches. In this context, molecular medicine is revolutionizing the understanding of pathogenetic mechanisms and the identification of new therapeutic strategies.

The international workshop “Molecular Medicinals: from congenital to acquired hematological diseases”, organized as part of the research activities of the Technopole for Precision Medicine – Tecnomed Puglia, will be held on June 3rd, 2025, at CNR-NANOTEC  in Lecce. It brings together internationally renowned experts to discuss the latest developments in translational research and molecular therapies.

The presence of leading figures such as Ronald Hoffman, an expert in myeloproliferative diseases, John Stamatoyannopoulos, a pioneer in gene regulation and epigenomics, and Stefano Rivella, known for his contributions to gene therapy for thalassemias, ensures a multidisciplinary and high-level scientific perspective.

Designed as an opportunity to bridge basic research and clinical application, the workshop aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and the development of new collaborations to advance “molecular medicinals and biosensors” in order to develop personalized therapies for hematological diseases.
