From 22 to 24 July 2026, the CNR Nanotec in Lecce, will host the international workshop Light, Excitons and Atomic Fluids, an interdisciplinary meeting bringing together researchers in atomic, photonic, and condensed matter physics to explore the common features of quantum fluids and interacting many-body systems.
The scientific programme focuses on collective dynamics, phase transitions, and emergent phenomena across platforms, including ultracold atoms, photon and polariton condensates, excitonic systems, and nonlinear fluids of light.
The workshop aims to highlight the universal physical principles underlying these systems, promote dialogue between experimental and theoretical approaches, and foster a shared perspective among the different research communities working on quantum fluids.
