I got the laurea in chemistry in 1999 at the University of Bologna and, after a research training period, I got the PhD in Chemical Sciences (2004-2006). I became research scientist at ISOF-CNR (Bologna) in 2010. In 2012, I moved to the Institute of Nanotechnology (CNR-NANOTEC) in Lecce. My scientific interests are concerned with photoinduced energy- and electron-transfer processes in organic and inorganic dyes, metal complexes, supramolecular systems and nanostructures in connection with light energy conversion, lighting technologies and heritage science. The scientific curriculum consists of more than 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and 40 among abstracts at meetings, proceeding papers and book chapters. Currently, I’m involved in national and international research projects concerning the above-mentioned topics.
