Daniele Meggiolaro is a senior research scientist at CNR-NANOTEC. He graduated in Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2011 and obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the same university in 2015.
He carried out postdoctoral research at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from 2016 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been a permanent researcher at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
His research activity focuses on materials theory and computational chemistry techniques applied to problems in solid-state chemistry and physics, with particular emphasis on materials for solar cells, solid-state light-emitting devices, and metal-ion batteries.
He is involved, both as a collaborator and as a scientific coordinator, in several projects funded by national and international programs. He is also the author of more than 70 scientific publications in the field.
