I am a researcher at CNR-NANOTEC since 2022. I obtained my PhD from the Università del Salento in 2016, working on the synthesis of hybrid materials and their integration into photovoltaic devices. In 2016, as a postdoctoral researcher, I joined CNR-NANOTEC to work on the synthesis of colloidal 2D transition metal dichalcogenides and their integration into optoelectronic devices. In 2020, I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship and joined the University of Exeter (UK), focusing on the development of ultrafast photodetectors based on 2D materials for optical wireless communication technologies. Since 2022, I have been based in Lecce at CNR-NANOTEC as a permanent research staff member. Currently, I am the scientific responsible for projects focused on the development of innovative materials, including hybrid perovskites and 2D inorganic materials. My scientific interests span the fields of materials science, physics, and engineering. Specifically, I focus on the development, engineering, and characterization of materials for applications in optoelectronic and photonic devices.
